About Ashley
Hi, my name is Ashley. I wear many hats…mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, self-employed small business owner, farm girl, animal and nature lover to name a few. The mother hat is probably the one I hold dearest to me, and most important job I will ever have. After becoming a mother, words came to me one day at the inspiration of my daughter when she was two years old. Originally, it was just for fun. I wrote the words on construction paper with my daughter’s markers, just for the two of us. I had no intention of ever sharing my ideas with others or to get them published. As time went on the nudge to get in touch with what I used to enjoy as a child, some of which were art and writing, just wouldn’t go away. As my daughter got older, her creativity and ideas have inspired me even more. The nudges became stronger and turned into goals that I, at one time, thought were farfetched and unobtainable. Years later, here we are and my first creative expression of love is now available on Amazon. I hope to create several more children’s books, teaming up with the help from my talented daughter.
